General Inquiries
We offer guided day trips from Prague and day tours from Dresden to the national parks of Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland.
As standard, we go to visit the biggest icons of national parks, such as Bastei Bridge, Pravcicka Gate, Tisa Rocks Labyrinth or Dinhy ride in Kamenice river gorge. But you can also order a private tour with us, where we will also look for lesser-known hidden gems.
We conduct our trips in small groups, usually up to 8 people, maximum 15 during the summer peak. Throughout the trip, you will enjoy high comfort, starting with pick-up from the hotel in an air-conditioned van, all-day care of a guide, and a well-thought-out itinerary in which we offer not only travel experiences, but also local customs and tastes.
They are the same geological area (Elbe Sandstone Mountains) divided by the Czech-German border. Bohemian Switzerland (Pravcicka Gate) is generally wilder and rockier. Saxon Switzerland (Bastei Bridge) is known for its iconic stone bridges and castle ruins. Our Best of Tour from Dresden combines both parts.

Tour Information
The Bohemian Switzerland national park lies in a low altitude. Its landscape will remind you of mountains, but the temperature is in most of the year similar to Prague's weather. Usually, it's colder by 2-5 degrees Celsius. In winter, temperatures can drop below zero.
The only single important thing is to wear comfortable hiking boots or sport shoes suitable for forest walk. In colder months, we recommend waterproof footwear and warm, waterproof layers, as mountain weather can change quickly. Dress in layers, so you can adapt to changes in the weather easily. We are outside most of the day, so check the forecast before you go.
We arrange the tour in small groups. Our standard maximum is 8 people per van, which ensures a personalized experience. Sometimes, in the busy summer season, we can use two vans for up to 15 people.
The dinghy boat rides through the Gorges of the River Kamenice are available only from April until end of October. In winter, we offer an alternative program. Check the tour itinerary for details.
The difficulty varies by the selected tour. Our Easy Tour from Dresden is ideal for seniors and families with smaller children, as the route is short and undemanding. The Best of Tour from Dresden and Tour from Prague is a moderately challenging hike with longer sections and some elevation gain. Details on length and elevation are always provided on the specific tour page.
Our tours run in all weather conditions, as most attractions are open. If there were extreme and dangerous conditions, we would contact you in advance and offer an alternative program, or a free cancellation/rescheduling.
Yes, the price of the day trip always includes a substantial lunch menu (including drinks and coffee/tea) at a local restaurant. We also provide a snack package and bottled water for the road.
Pricing and Fees
We provide better rates for families travelling with kids. Children up to 14 years pay 80% of the standard tour rate. That means a 20 % children discount.
Customization and Special Requests
The choice of vegetarian/ vegan food in the national park is limited, but we can arrange it for you. Please let us know in advance before departure, so we can prepare your meal in the morning.
Of course, if you order a custom tour, you can choose the program exactly according to your needs, including the hiking route, pace, and length of the trip. Contact us to design your perfect itinerary.
No, there are many unpaved paths in the national park that are not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
The dinghy boat rides in the Kamenice River Gorges are operated by the local national park authority and cannot be booked privately. The boat rides are included in the price of our day trips during the operating season (April - October).
