Our guide Andrea was great she showed us all the sites and gave us just enough info about the sites. She gave us plenty of time to see everything and take photos. She never rushed us. The stop for lunch with traditional Czech cuisine was excellent. We had a really great experience and would highly recommend booking with Saxon tours. Show more

The scenery was amazing and this tour took us to see the high sandstone formations with old fortifications, drove us to a second site for a challenging but exhilarating hike to climb up to a high vantage point with spectacular views above a large rock arch. After a very substantial lunch of traditional Czech food, we visited another area with varied and infringing rock formations where we were in amongst them. It was a full day, needing moderate fitness levels at times but to see this beautiful landscape was very stimulating. Our guide Andrea was very knowledgeable about the area, and made this a most enjoyable outing. I would recommend this day trip to anyone visiting this region but be aware that parts of the sustained climb required a moderate level of fitness and endurance. Show more

Overall, this was an excellent tour. This isn't the sort of tour where a bus drops you off at each location and you walk for 20 minutes total, but in my view, that's a big plus. You do have to do some light to moderate hiking, so it won't be right for everyone. In exchange, you get to see some truly beautiful sights that would be hard to access otherwise if you aren't renting a car. The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable and the whole experience was comfortable and smoothly run. I'd recommend this to my friends if they were in the area. Show more
