Our journey begins with a visit to the awe-inspiring Bastei Bridge, majestically positioned on a towering rock formation, granting panoramic vistas of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.
Our journey leads us to the awe-inspiring Neurathen Fortress, a remarkable landmark harmoniously blending with the surrounding sandstone terrain. Embark on a voyage through time as we uncover the vestiges of this medieval stronghold, once home to vigilant guardians, immersing ourselves in the rich history of its ancient walls.

The Königstein Christmas market is held on all four Advent weekends and offers an atmospheric setting. The eventful Christmas market at the Fortress features hand-crafted stalls based on historical models made of wooden slats and fabric panels. Traders are offering their goods in traditional garb. Goulash soup and Fortress punch are steaming in large copper kettles on open fires. There are demonstrations of traditional crafts, stage programs with folk music, dance, and artistry, and living animals in the Christmas crib.
The market also features weather-protected strolling areas in the underground casemates, an electoral table with Dresden china in Friedrichsburg Castle, and Germany’s longest Advent calendar.
At the end of your journey, we’ll return you to your starting point, leaving you with wonderful memories and perhaps some unique souvenirs from the Christmas markets.

The views were wonderful. The hiking was a little strenuous but manageable and the Stone Castle and Bridge were spectacular. Mira, our guide, personalized the experience for us. Very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We highly recommend this tour.

Amazing tour! Milan collected us at our house boat hotel (also recommended) in an air conditioned mini-van. We met other guests from the Netherlands, South Africa and the USA.
A hike to Bastei Bridge was breath taking - not for the faint hearted as some of walks were a bit scary! Our guide Vitka was great - she gave us the history of the sandstone formations. Lunch was in the Kamenice Canyon in Czech Republic - again a long trek down the gorge for a boat ride. An excellent tour - but make sure to stay hydrated and to wear suitable clothing!

We recently (late June) went on the Amazing Bastei Bridge and Tisa Walls Labyrinth tour that included both Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland. Our guide Jitka K and driver Milan V were great! Milan was extremely kind in helping one of the two of us

It was an amazing tour. A lot to see and a lot of walking. you need to have a good condition to take this tour. We visited 3 different highlights and they are beautifull in their one way. I mostly liked the Basteibridge; the view and the nature are spectatulair. We were with a small group (7 persons),

We took this tour on a very hot day in Dresden. It provided the perfect relief from the heat. Milan picked us up in a very comfortable air conditioned van. He was very accommodating and provided waters and a snack as requested. Vitka was our tour guide and she explained

I went on this trip with my husband and 11 month old. The tour guide was personable and provided information on the area and the sights. The views and hikes were beautiful and it was so convenient that we were picked up directly from our hotel. I highly recommend this trip and it was very do-able with a small child (moderate level hike and not too long).
