If you are looking for an alternative to a day in Dresden or Prague, this is the trip for you. Milan (company owner and driver) and Andrea (English speaking. guide) were great hosts who did everything possible to make this a memorable trip for everyone. Spectacular rock formations and nature viewing. Lots of education on rocks, trees and plants as well as history of this very interesting region. Really enjoyed getting to know Milan and Andrea, including a visit to their home town in the Czech Republic. Hiking was vigorous but quite manageable (I am a 68 year old in decent shape and had no problem with the hikes). Lunch was surprisingly good. All in all, a great trip! Show more

Overall, this was an excellent tour. This isn't the sort of tour where a bus drops you off at each location and you walk for 20 minutes total, but in my view, that's a big plus. You do have to do some light to moderate hiking, so it won't be right for everyone. In exchange, you get to see some truly beautiful sights that would be hard to access otherwise if you aren't renting a car. The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable and the whole experience was comfortable and smoothly run. I'd recommend this to my friends if they were in the area. Show more

The trip to Saxony was the highlight of our vacation. My husband and I, we were in Dresden for Christmas. The city is beautiful but we needed some nature to complement. We took this tour on Christmas Day and it was the perfect trip. Andrea, our guide, was like a friend taking you to a beautiful place in her hometown. We had such a great time. She did a great job integrating the group so we all ha a lot of fun together…. And the landscapes were just spectacular! I totally recommend this tour. Show more

We had a fantastic experience with Saxon Tours. We went to Bohemian Saxony and visited three different locations, all were gorgeous. Milan and Camelia are very punctual which helped to beat the crowds and enjoy those magnificent places even more.
