9:30 - Bastei Bridge & Neurathen Castle

11:30 - Pravcicka Gate (April - October)

The 2 km hike involves walking through scenic landscapes as we head towards the Pravcicka Gate. As you approach it from below, you will have the opportunity to connect with nature and take in the majesty with which it stands at the top of the surrounding landscape. It is the symbol of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park and you will know why, once you see it.

14:00 - A local lunch

After a demanding hike, you need to recharge your batteries, so we will stop at a traditional Czech and locally renowned restaurant. Local Czech and international dishes are served (including vegetarian options). We highly recommend trying Czech beer, which is one of the best in the world.

16:00 - Narnia maze

Tisa Rocks labyrinth, where Chronicles of Narnia was filmed. The rock city with lots of towers, small squares and mysterious corners will win you over with its captivating beauty.

18:00 - Return back to your Dresden accommodation

Feel good with the good tour guide Andrea. The tour is recommended to others. Though there are some unexpected traffic issues, Andrea and Milan tried their best to pick me up from my hotel and fully utilised the time for me to see those beautiful scenes in the National park and Tissaer Wande. And going during off season also allows our group to enjoy the environment a lot. Besides, Andrea prepared lots of snacks and water so that we don’t have to afraid of hunger. She took care of us well during the ups and downs when hiking in the snow with knowledgeable explanation on histories of those places. That’s why it is an enjoyable tour.

Bohemian Switzerland Lord Of the rings Day out

This tour took us to a destination quite unknown to British travellers. It was awesome with a landscape that wouldn’t have looked out of place on the film set of Lord OF the Rings. It was even snowing which was a bonus at Christmas. Adam (the guide) was funny with great knowledge and took care of us. The meal in the Czech Republic was great! Thoroughly enjoyed our day
