Great day trip. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of hiking, especially in Tisa Walls and great spots for lovely pictures, especially in Bastei Bridge. Overall, I’d highly recommend it to anyone who admires natural beauty and epic landscapes.
Fun trip with family, well arranged to avoid and waiting for lunch + snacks and drinks in the comfortable vehicle.
We where picked up at our rented apartment by minibus, the driver was a few minuttes late, but he sent an sms informing us, which we think is a nice service.
We then went to bastei Skywalk, where we met up with our guides. They were very welcoming and informative on the surroundings, which where absolutely breath talking and leading the first in a long row of wow's (as in WOW look at that!).
Then we were driven to the Pravčická Archway. There is a aproximately 3 km walk up to the site which is a little demanding but the guides made sure no one got left behind.
More wow's at the top and a well deserved drink. After the walk down, we
then went to a local restaurant where we had a delightful lunch.
Last stop was the Tiské stěny which was just as beautiful as the first 2 stops, before being driven back to the doorstep of our rented apartment.
The day was a very hot one but all through the tour, the guides and our driver made sure we had water and snacks.
We had an absolutely wonderful day!
Special thanks to our driver Phillip, from who we learned a lot about everyday life in the Czech Republic during the drive!
We give this the best reccomandations we can!

We absolutely loved our day trip. It was very well organized. Pick up was on time. There were two excellent guides with the group and the hikes were done at a comfortable pace. Water and snacks were provided as well as a good lunch. We appreciated the first part of the tour which included stone bridge and the stone arch were more enjoyable than the river walk and boat ride.
A really terrific day trip out of Dresden. It is great to get out of the city and see the surrounding nature of the Saxon and Bohemia regions. The trip includes a few stops at breathtaking natural formations, drives through chasing small towns and and a wonderful hike, which is mildly strenuous, but not too brutal. The provided restaurant stop/lunch was good, but not memorable. If I have one critique of the trip/suggestion it would be the lunch stop. We stood at a place removed from a town and sort of off the highway, but well off the highway and within a nice space of greenery. I think the trip might be improved and made more memorable by a stop to eat in one of the small towns we drive through to add a cultural element to go along with the day of natural wonders.
Now a word about the guide and the driver: Dalibora (guide) and Daniel (driver) could not have been more pleasant and thoughtful. Dalibora's descriptions of, and obvious love for, the landscapes she shared with us, and the stories of the parks and ruins and built elements within them was extraordinary. She was also utterly charming and showed great care for each individual on the trip. She quickly seemed like a longtime friend rather than someone simply providing a service for us. It was sad to part ways at the end of the trip with this great guide.
Daniel is young, seemingly not even out of his twenties, but he drives with the skill and caution of someone who has been doing it for years. And he's just a great kid. Hi is quite personable and clearly interested in the guests. He also quite clearly likes to laugh and is very funny, but not in a way that distracts him form his important work of ensuring the guests' safety as he drives.
Getting to know these terrific guides was a great additional element to the wonders of the actual trip and the access to the environments that a day out with Saxon Tours provided.
Thanks to all!
Daniel
