We had a prompt pick up with lovely staff. Our driver Monika was skilled at navigating and our guide Simon was very knowledgeable and fun. We were able to enjoy all the destinations. Simon and his colleague walked facilitated a lovely day of chatting about Prague, the landmarks we visited and our lives living in different cities. We were fortunate to have very charismatic and interesting tour mates. I would recommend this trip as it is great value for money and all you have to do is go along for the ride. They provided water and snacks for the trip and lunch is included.
Saxon Tours (and their affiliate Uniline Tours) provided a wonderful day of exploring the extraordinary sandstone columns at Bastei bridge, Pravcicka arch and Tisa labyrinth, with some hiking and a delicious Czech lunch. About from the scenery, what made it special were the efforts o guides Elis and Kate, and driver Vince, who kept us safe and comfortable and informed; nothing was too much trouble and they even paid for appropriately timed toilet stops. Refreshments provided. 10/10.
We booked this tour with saxon tours . We were clearly communicated about the pick up timing from our hotel and guide name. Picke up was on time and we started our journey in a comfortable minivan with two other couples and our Guide Ondra and our driver Juraj. Juraj is a very gentle person who drove us safe and sound throughout the tour. Ondra is an excellent guide, full of information and humour and he never let our energy come down through out the tour. We started our visit with Saxon National park and visited Bastei Bridge and couple of view point. The hiking was of low intensity and through out the hike Ondra took very good care for us. The views are breathtaking and you will feel getting time travelled in a fantasy land of an bygone era. Thw next hiking was to visit the largest stone arch of Europe. But we decided to skip that as we are not much of a hiker. Ondra was kind enough to take us to a view point from where we could see the arch from down. Alternatively he took us in a walking tour of two nice hamlets in Czech part. We had a nice lemonade there. Then we headed to a golf resort where we had delicious lunch. Ondra took pre order from us and informed them. So the food came quick and hot. The golf resort itself is a place to cherish. Then we moved for another easy hiking in Tiske steny, the stone labyrinth where ' Chronicles of Narnia ' were filmed.
Through out the tour, main focus for Ondra was our comfort and satisfaction. The car was loaded with water bottles , crossiants, energy bars ans other snacks item. Food and drinks were more than sufficient throughout the day and were included in the tour price.
We spent a wonderful day in lap of nature with awesome people. A big aplaud fro Saxon tours. Highly recommended.
